Airport: Bagdogra Airport located in Siliguri is the nearest Airport to reach Gangtok and is approximately 125 km from the city. It takes approximately 5 hours from the Airport to reach Gangtok.

Railway Station: One can also take trains from their city to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and reach Gangtok by road in approximately 5 hours.

Arrive at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport/ Siliguri (NJP) Railway Station. Meet and greet our representative and proceed to Gangtok. On the way you will visit Coronation Bridge & magnificent view of the river Teesta. Check in hotel at Gangtok and Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

 

Early in the morning, proceed on a city tour in Gangtok  including Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, 3 view points offering panoramic view of snow capped Himalayan peaks & Gangtok city, visit Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls (any one), Institute  of Tibetology to have a glance of Tibetan Thanka and antics, Orchid House (having numerous collection of orchids), Enchay Monastery, Do durl Chorten.  Overnight stay at the hotel.

Early in the morning (7.30 am) drive for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake. It is the most important tourist attraction in Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake is 32 km away from the city at an altitude of above 12,000 ft. Enjoy yak ride around the lake (own cost).  Baba Mandir is another 01 hour drive from there.  Drive back to hotel for lunch. Enjoy your evening at MG Marg in Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Proceed to Siliguri (NJP)/ Bagdogra (IXB). You will be dropped at the Airport/Railway Station. Depart for home with beautiful memories.
