Spread across an area of 7500 sq. km, salt marsh is acclaimed as one of the world’s largest salt deserts. ‘Rann’ means desert. one of the most spectacular and unique landscape’s on earth, this area encompasses border areas and hence requires a permit that can be picked up from a place called Bhirandiyara, 51 km north of Bhuj. The tented camps at Hodka (63 km from Bhuj) and Dhordo, site of the Rann Utsav, to the White Rann are major attractions and an amazing experience. Adding colour to the bleak landscapes are various communities and their unique crafts like the Maldharis’ Mutwa embroidery.

 

Airport: Bhuj Airport is connected toSardar Vallabhbhai Airport, located in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. One can arrive at Ahmedabad and then take a flight to Bhuj.

Railway station: Bhuj Ralwat Station is north of the city. It is served by trains from different parts of the state

Itinerary:

Arrival at Bhuj. Meet and greet our reprsentative and transfer to Tent City. Check-in time at Tent City is 12:30 PM. There are fixed timing departures from Dhordo at 

8: 15 AM: From Airport and Railway Station, Bhuj

10:00 AM: From Railway Station, Bhuj

2:30 PM: From Railway Station, Bhuj

3:30 PM: From Airport, Bhuj

Upon arrival at Tent City, Dhordo, check-in the hotel. Have lunch at respective dining areas and enjoy in-house activities. Get high tea in the evening and transfer to White Rann to experience the grandeur of sunset. Mode of transfer can be through bus/ camel cart/ both. Return transfer to Tent City, Dhordo. Dinner at respective dining area. Enjoy the culture of Kutch along with some entertainment at the cultural activity area. 

After morning tea and breakfast at the dining area,  get a complimentary tour to Mandvi. Located at 140 km from the tent city, Mandvi is a beautiful white sand beach with enchanting sunset views. Its beach and riverfront together present contrasting moments of relaxation as well as fun and water sports. Proceed to see Shyamji Krishna Varma memorial and then visit Vijay Vilas Palace. Have lunch and proceed to spend some leisure time at a private beach. Enjoy the coastline of Gujarat  with some of the most splendid views. Return to the Tent City at Dhordo. Have dinner at respective dining area.

Morning Tea at 6.00 AM. Get a transfer to White Rann to experience the grandeur of sunrise. Have breakfast at respective dining area and enjoy in-house activities. Lunch at respective dining areas and then visit to Kalo Dungar/Black hill. This is the highest point in Kutch and a vantage point for an unmatched view of the Great Rann of Kutch and White Desert.

After morning tea and breakfast and a take a complimentary tour t places of inerest in Bhuj. Depart for home with sweet memories.

  • Complimentary refreshments will be served en route The Tent City, Dhordo in the bus.
  • 3 Nights/4 Days Package includes Lunch, High-Tea & Dinner on 1st Day, Morning Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshment & Dinner on 2nd & 3rd Day and Morning Tea & Breakfast on 4th Day. The meals will be served as per the scheduled time in respective dining areas and missed meals will not be refunded or extended on 3rd Day.
  • 1 Night/2 Days package includes Lunch, High-Tea & Dinner on 1st Day and Morning Tea and Breakfast on 2nd Day. The meals will be served as per the scheduled time in respective dining areas and missed meals will not be refunded or extended on 2nd Day.
  • Visit to White Rann on Day 1, visit to Mandvi on Day 2 and visit to Kala Dungar on Day 3 in 3 Nights/4 Days package whereas visit to White Rann on Day 1 and visit to Kala Dungar on Day 2 in 2 Nights/3 Days package are fixed & cannot be inter-changed. Guest/s who have missed the visit as per itinerary may be included on request on a chargeable basis.
  • Accommodation in Tent is on twin sharing basis.
  • Two bottles of drinking water per day per tent will be provided.
  • Vehicle at disposal is not provided. 
  • Any personal expenses, room services and special orders alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are not included.
  •  Any extra excursions or sightseeing apart from the suggested tour itinerary not included.
